We would like to invite you to the XXIIIº Brazilian Congress of Paleontology, an event promoted by the Brazilian Society of Paleontology (BSP), that will be held in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil, from 13 to 18 October, 2013.
The theme of the event, "Brazilian fossil: testimony of the continental drift, honoring Wegener", intends to highlight the contribution of Brazilian fossils to this important theory proposed by Alfred Wegener in 1912.
The event will take place at the Centro de Eventos da FAURGS, in Gramado, with facilities for all the activities related to the Congress. Gramado is a city located in "serra gaúcha" also known as the "Cidade das Hortênsias". During October, the beauty of the region is accentuated by the springtime, with an average temperature of 17ºC, which makes the wines and chocolate fondues very attractive.
